Founding member of ConoSur Capital, he has more than 25 years of experience in private equity, corporate finance, and business management. Mr. Ortiz is co-founder of ConoSur Investments and previously co-founded CoInvest Argentina. As a Director of these companies, he participated in numerous relevant private equity transactions in Argentina and Uruguay between 2000 and present.

Between 1992 and 1999, Mr. Ortiz was Managing Director of The Exxel Group, where he was responsible for initial evaluations, due diligence, negotiation, and closing of private equity transactions, as well as their financing and monitoring.

Early in his career, Mr. Ortiz held several senior positions at Techint Group. He has an industrial engineering degree from Universidad Católica Argentina (UCA) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from Ross Business School, University of Michigan (Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA).

Founding member of ConoSur Capital, he has more than 25 years of experience in the international financial markets. Mr. Agote is co-founder of ConoSur Investments. Previously he was Country Manager and President of Merrill Lynch Argentina. He also served as Managing Director of the Global Wealth Management business as the head of Merrill Lynch’s international office in Miami before that.

Early in his career, Mr. Agote held various senior positions, including Product and Export Manager at Molinos Rio de la Plata. He has a Bachelor of Science in Economics (BSE) degree from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA).

Gonzalo has over 10 years of experience in investment banking and private equity in Latam, Europe and the Middle East.

Prior to ConoSur, he worked at PIF Saudi Arabian sovereign wealth fund- in the international real estate and infrastructure investment team. He also worked as an investment banker for Citi Bank, covering the real estate sector in Europe from the London office. In addition, he worked for Landmark Alantra, specializing on M&A in Latam, covering the agribusiness, finance, retail and technology sectors.

Mr. Ortiz is a graduate in Business Economics at Torcuato Di Tella University, and he completed an MBA at IESE Business School in 2018.

Joaquín A. Pozzo has more than 15 years of experience in the capital markets, with emphasis on legal and regulatory aspects of the activity (including money laundering prevention and the fight against financing terrorism), debt markets, and structured finance. He is currently Of Counsel at MBP Abogados and a member and compliance officer of Cono Sur Inversiones S.A. He previously held the same position at Puente Hnos. S.A. during the 2016 fiscal year, serving on the legal and compliance committees.

Between 2014 and 2015, he served as General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer of Puente Holding Ltd. and its affiliates, where he was responsible for legal, regulatory, and anti-money laundering and terrorism financing prevention matters for the entire group. From 2012 until 2014, he served as Director of Legal, Compliance, and Risk for Puente Hnos. S.A. and from 2008 to 2012, as Legal Manager for the same firm and its local affiliates (including a Mutual Guarantee Society and a Mutual Fund Management Society). Early in his career, Mr. Pozzo held various positions of responsibility in other local law firms where he assisted and advised various financial entities in the country.

He is a lawyer, graduated from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) in 2001, and achieved an MBA from IAE Business School (Universidad Austral) in 2007. From 2016 to 2018, he taught capital market training courses at Argentine Bank Associations. In 2019, he participated in the Executive Management Simulation Program (EXSIM) as a board member of the teams assigned to the Executive MBA.
